Fun is essential to life!
Celebration is part of GOD’s desire for us. He created the feasts for the Hebrew people, so they’d be encouraged to celebrate life. The first miracle Jesus is recorded to have done was to turn water into wine at a wedding!
The importance and value of fun in life cannot be underestimated.
I’m going to a wedding. I’m so excited because it’s a long-standing friend who’s getting married and that is always something to enjoy: Love!! A wedding is a celebration of love and a marker of joy to the start of a lifetime together,
“So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” (Matthew 19:6)
Roller Coaster Rides
Sometimes life feels like an emotional roller coaster ride. A real roller coaster is a great way to unwind stress — well, it is for some. For others, it’s more stress but still, it is fun!!
Joy comes in all sorts of packages
Whether we’re a sombre sort or an effervescent person, whether our greatest joy is being out in nature, or at a music extravaganza, we enjoy life in so many ways…. and we need to.
GOD wants us to enjoy life!
Whether in fair weather or foul
No matter the weather, political climate, or social scene, we can find ways to express ourselves in ways we enjoy. And we must!
Whether the season is a strain or challenge or a wake up call, there is always something to be grateful for, and it is vital to life to find moments of pleasure. The world is a beautiful place; people are amazingly made (Psalm 139).
Let’s each make a choice now, to remember to pause, to smell the flowers! Let’s look to the clouds or the furry tail wagger nearby, excited for a walk in the park.
