The protests that have been occurring across Britain recently are not evidence of racism.
Last week there were intense riots across the UK. It is claimed by politicians and the media that these rioters are far right extremists stirring up violence towards other people groups. More accurately though, this has been a public reaction to the reality we’ve been gaslit over and over again about immigration, rather than any actual intolerance or racism toward those who are coming from foreign lands either legally or illegally.
In particular, the Islamic population has soared in recent years. Many Muslims are delighted to become a part of British society, assimilating into the local culture. However, many others refuse to intersect with the pre-existing British population. Resentment has grown amongst Brits, particularly the poorer, who suffer consequences of poor or limited social housing. All around the country, people are finding it more and more difficult to get school places for their children or GP appointments. But politicians and the mainstream media refuse to admit a link between mass migration and limited infrastructure, which affects local people. Anger is rising, primarily because of a lack of social cohesion and the consequences of a quickly-rising population in spite of limited resources. It is not really because of any deep-rooted bigotry or racism within mainstream British society. Britain is, by and large, a very tolerant and accepting society.
Being lied to by media and politicians has been infuriating; to add insult to injury, the anger that people have expressed in peaceful protest (and sometimes in inexcusable violent rioting and luting) has been labelled far right and misdiagnosed as resentment and racism towards foreigners and migrants.
Melanie Phillips writes,
“For an increasing number of people, there’s now an automatic presumption that the authorities aren’t telling them the truth. That’s because there’s such a dislocation between what people can see with their own eyes is happening and what they are told or not told about it and what they can see is or is not being done about it.” (Murders, machetes, and mobs in Britain, August 1st 2024)
What does set protests alight
What is not being discussed is the root cause of a rise in violence across the nation and in fact, across the West. The root cause is Satan and his assistants, such as the gods Baal, Ishater and Molech (Return of the Gods, J Cahn) being released and influencing more and more weak-minded people.
Ares… Greek god of war is surely in the mix…
May I encourage you to get a copy of the book and read it? We need to be aware of the spiritual forces against this world, and prepare to prayerfully combat the real enemy, praying for deliverance of those captured by the darker side of the spiritual world.
“…. the more people are gaslighted over legitimate concerns that are suppressed and ignored, the more anger and resentment will be created, the more unsavoury will be the political opportunists taking advantage of these developments and the more thuggishness, disorder and violence will result.” (Murders, Machetes, and Mobs in Britain, M Phillips)
Yes, people are cross. But the gods relish that anger and are stirring up more!
The way forward
Pray:
‘Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.’
We need to pray for peace and harmony in our society. We need to ask the LORD to protect the minds and hearts of the people of Britain, whether citizens or immigrants. We need prayerfully to cover society against the demonic and be ready and willing to share Who is our hope: Yeshua/Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 2:19)
Put out the good news:
“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”” Isaiah 52:7 points to Jesus through the prophet.
We need to be ready to tell others how and why we experience the blessed life: the joy, peace, and love, that we receive.
Equip ourselves to disciple:
In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus says,
“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”
Love, forgive and hope
The way forward is to practice what we preach: to love & to fear not!
Evil is here and he has a name. When we confront Satan, he will flee. (James 4:7b)
