Preparing the Bride of Jesus Christ

Challenged like never before?

If you are feeling challenged like never before, I don’t need to explain — given the politics and societal rapid decline, or witnessing physical and mental health issues like never before — I don’t need to explain or give detail, do I?

If you have been watching and connect the dots, you’ll see the conspiracy theory walking into reality. The World Economic Forum and IMF (International Monetary Fund)  are dictating national financial policy; the G20 is being led by the unelected; the UN and all its associated bodies are telling us how to live: redefining good and evil. You’ll observe the overall national decline in the UK for example, and recognise it is the consequence of society finally catching up with our lack of reference to GOD. There has been just enough delay after turning our backs on the Yehovah GOD and His Son Yeshua/Jesus, to question whether there is a connection between the decline of democracy and economic success and its lack of reverence for the Creator. We worship the planet and seek to save the planet, rather than to worship the Creator and save the people on it. Hmm… do you think there is a connection?

The LORD allows sight to those who desire to see, and blindness to those who do not. (Matthew 11:25)

So, I write today to say we can hold on… The future in our nation of UK, and pretty much any Western nation, looks bleak. Poverty and powerlessness have come at last to the bastions of freedom. Western democracy is all but gone, as politicians put infighting and satisfying lobbyists and media over running the country.

And so we ask, “Where are you LORD?” Well, the Word has already told us —

“Trust in the LORD and lean not on your own understanding… In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

“And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” (Matthew 24:4-8)

These wars and evils only mark the beginning of sorrows. There is much more in store, all of which is triggered by man’s choice to control and the exclaimed priority being climate control. It is the religion of the 21st Century. Zealots are everywhere, their voices heard and followed by those full of fear or seeking something to worship. The void has been filled at last.

It is Satan who is behind this and whether he is unshackled or merely shaking the chains (Jude 1:6), on the time line of eternity, decline of common sense and common decency is rapid now, pervasive, and it would seem unstoppable.

So, we need to decide: do we still believe Jesus or do we give up?

As we move forward in this day, these times, we know that GOD is for us. “If GOD be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)

We forge on, knowing our Saviour and Lord is interceding and the Creator GOD, Yehovah, Father of us all, is waiting for His kingdom to come upon the earth as it is in heaven. And we pray! Holy Spirit fill us, help us to walk in Your anointing, help us to surrender our everything to You and enable us to walk in Your strength, joy, comfort, love, that we will comfort others with the comfort You give to us.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Power in the Sky: a reflection and an alert

Driving from Madrid around Midnight on a Sunday evening, the sky flashes silently, revealing the Father’s awesome power….

Flooding

Irma has been in full force over the last several days. Floods in Texas never before experienced wreaked havoc only days ago:

“Biblical proportions” the news reporters said. And one Houston resident said, “We need the LORD’s help.”

A few months ago, I told about the unusual experience of flooding in my home town in Canada.

Along the Costa Del Sol the semi-desert landscape was covered in water during February.

Floods are a sign: of judgement and of cleansing. Isn’t it the same thing? The floods can be a wake up call to draw folks to the Father. And like the Holy Spirit, the water washes away impurities.

And so, to the night sky recently.

Lightning

We were driving home to the south coast from Madrid. I had done my tour of duty at the wheel and as my hubby drove, I nodded off.

“Sarah, you have to see this!” he called out. “If you’re going to blog about this you have to see THIS.”

Groggy, I opened my eyes, first fleetingly, ultimately in awe. There was lighting: flash after flash, with the occasional bolt strong and clear. But though the lightning continued to flash for up to an hour, there was no sound, no thunder from the heavens.

Another sign, I think… God was reaching down to us. He was speaking to us then with a still, profound voice.

God’s Word

“I am the light of the world” said Jesus. “I am … I am… Believe. You have seen me, you have seen the Father.” These are echoes of his words to us.

“There will be wars and rumours of wars. These are signs but the time has not yet come.”

“Many will be deceived, even the elect.”

“They will argue about my name, Yehova.”

Action

Folks we need to read and to pray. We need to consolidate, not fight amongst ourselves. We need to be alert, with our lamps filled with oil. We need to be ready because the time is close at hand.

Go to Bible Gateway. Look up the texts above, which I’ve paraphrased. Search the scriptures: Matthew 24-25 to start. Hungry? Search the Word. His Word is Truth.

Time is at hand. Draw close to God and He will draw close to you. Ask for dreams from Him, visions and unctions. Ask for wisdom and an increase in Faith. If you are cross with someone, ask God to reveal to you how He sees that person: a friend, a stranger, a politician, a policeman. Ask and He will show you. See from God’s perspective. Get close to God. He’s waiting, He’s calling.

Personally

I dropped my personal goals agenda a good while ago. But at the start of this year, He said, “If you want to do something, this is the year to do it. No more chances after this.” I thought He meant my writing pieces, and prayers He’d called me to do. But earlier this month, He showed me He meant even in choosing/buying a car!

God is close, so very close. Let us open ourselves to Him, completely surrendered to His agenda, so that He can use us and take us on the adventure of a lifetime. Time is SO SHORT.

Won’t you linger with Him now?

How to live: As though “Tomorrow is another day” vs “It’s now or never”

During December 2016 I had a prompt from deep within me: “Focus in 2017 because if you don’t do it now you won’t do it ever.”

So, what drives me is this sense of urgency to do all I’ve been called to do, now. To give all to God:

  1. following His lead obediently and passionately, as I surrender to the New Man within me, who is free from angst, self-will, frustration and impatience (which otherwise so often leads me into a state of emotional distraction that prevents me from living the joyful life Father has for me).2.
  2. publishing the documents – books and blogs – which have been on the shelf or in my heart and need to see the light of day, so that others can gain from the insights our Creator has given to me.
  3. supporting my family as wife and mother, so that my husband and son can be all they have been created to be, and express their love for Father in their unique and special ways.

I think storms lie ahead. In fact, we are in the storm even now, perhaps even in the eye of the storm.

Matthew 24 describes the latter days, the End Times before Jesus will return in glory, to judge the earth and to receive his Bride, also known as the Church of Believers….

So many of the earthquakes, rumours of wars, persecutions…. are in full swing already.

How do I cope? I focus on His call, and the responsibilities He’s given me to fulfil, now.

As I dig into God, I will overcome the trials and see His purposes fulfilled in my life.

Hebrews 6:19 reads, “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil.”

And there’s an old song based on this scripture:

First of five verses:

Will your anchor hold in the storms of life,

When the clouds unfold their wings of strife?

When the strong tides lift and the cables strain,

Will your anchor drift, or firm remain?

Refrain:

We have an anchor that keeps the soul

Steadfast and sure while the billows roll,

Fastened to the Rock which cannot move,

Grounded firm and deep in the Saviour’s love.

I feel as though I’m on a stream train. At the start of 2017 it left the station, and I’m riding, not driving but nevertheless moving forward, gaining momentum. I’m moving from Calling into Ministry, gaining clarity, gaining speed, gaining momentum.

The fulfilment of God’s promises are imminent. He is intentional, and I join Him, carrying this sense that what I do now is imperative to His purposes.

This is the End of the Age.

Jesus will return.

There is already an almighty battle in the heavens which is manifesting on the earth.

Is the Battle of Armageddon imminent? Who knows when such things will come to pass?

My Call has been and is to inspire, encourage, equip, and empower Believers. Like Peter, who ministered to the Jews and who was convicted of His call to righteousness, my first call is to reach to those already following Jesus, and to compel them to complete their course, to fulfil their Call.

Never have I felt so compelled to be ordered, focused, alert, ready… never have I felt the promises of God so close to fulfilment. And so I choose to live as though “It’s now or never” because I think it is! And I encourage each of you to do the same.

Will your anchor hold in the storms of life,

When the clouds unfold their wings of strife?

When the strong tides lift and the cables strain,

Will your anchor drift, or firm remain?

We have an anchor that keeps the soul

Steadfast and sure while the billows roll,

Fastened to the Rock which cannot move,

Grounded firm and deep in the Saviour’s love.
