Preparing the Bride of Jesus Christ

No Time to Waste

A Time to Celebrate

I was at the Royal Albert Hall in London UK this past weekend for the Prom Praise 2024 concert, an annual event for Christians to celebrate together, worshipping Jesus. It was great fun and a delight to worship the Lord in a secular venue with lots of other Christians.

There was a particular moment when the LORD’s presence became palpable; it was a beautiful moment sparking an extended blessed time in the auditorium. Then another moment came where I had a strong sense that there is very little time left for the nation to repent. I wept.

A Time for Repentance

What has the nation to repent for?

Has the UK not turned from GOD — taking Him out of school assembly, passing laws which are contrary to Biblical principles, raising up other gods and practising idolatry?

No Time to Waste

It’s time to pray. To my mind, we have a small window to draw people to the LORD, to pray for our society, before something… War? Rapture? Western decline in finance as it has declined in morality?… And is their a collapse, a fall or a takeover coming? Is it inevitable or can it be averted, like the Ninevites who avoided the catastrophe that Jonah warned them of? (Jonah 3)

Something is about to happen which will shift life for us in the West hugely. But we don’t know what it is.

I do not have a prophetic edge on what is coming. However, I’m not convinced Britain is going to avoid the consequences of rebellion against GOD which began in the 1960s. We pray — and we must pray — for our families, our communities. However, I do not know that GOD is going to relent. We may be passed the point of no return. I do not know.

And that is why I’m calling for prayer: Earnest heartfelt prayer. Nonstop prayer. Dedicated prayer.

“If my people who are by my name will humble themselves and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear them from Heaven, and forgive their sin, and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

“The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” (James 5:16)

This is a call to prayer, now.

Let’s be still. Let’s get on our knees (or whatever position you are accustomed to take), pray, and seek GOD as to what to pray.

Then let’s pray and follow as GOD leads whatever direction He then gives to us.

This is a must, for us all. A tsunami is coming. Maybe it can be diverted, maybe it can be transposed. Maybe not.

What I do know is it’s time to pray without ceasing! (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

“The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” (James 5:16)
