Squabbles and Spiritual Significance: Trump V Zelenskyy

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the ^[a]holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. ³² All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.” (Matthew 25:31)

I am not a prophet. I’ve said this before. But I am a watchman. Sometimes I see in the spiritual dimension what I think is obvious to anyone, but it proves not to be so obvious. So, I’m going to share what I see in the squabble between JD Vance, Donald Trump and President Zelensky of Ukraine. It is something I’ve not read or heard from anyone else yet…

Squabbles and Spiritual Significance

If you watched on Friday 28th February, or looked up on line afterward, Vladimir Zelenskyy was hosted by the Trump administration at the White House. 

The Oval Office meeting commenced in good faith and with courtesy, but it spiralled into a verbal slinging match which, in due course, British newspapers classified as a bully session (DT and JDV) against a hero (VZ).

Here’s my take

JD Vance bluntly said that Zelensky was ungrateful and should be thankful for the US help. 

Zelensky, in exchange, highlighted that without support towards Ukraine, the US would “feel” repercussions eventually. 

President Trump then launched into a verbal attack saying, ‘You can’t say that; it isn’t true,’ and ‘if you’re not careful, you’re going to trigger WWIII’. (Not direct quotations)

That’s the sum of the argument as I see it. All the rest is petty distraction.

Spiritually speaking

As president of a nation, Trump was protecting the US from a curse. For me, it is as simple as that. And I agree entirely with his action to refute the Ukrainian president’s claim. It’s his job to protect the US and he did that, in spades.

For me, it is very simple. No conspiracy here, no infighting there. No personality analysis, or body language analysis, and no hero-worship anywhere in my sight. Just a simple spiritual dynamic verbalised.

Prayer

We pray for peace in Ukraine, we pray for peace between the US and Europe and between the US and Ukraine. We pray for the souls of each of the nations and pray, “Jesus, use this to draw more people to the Truth of who You are and that You are coming soon to judge the earth, to separate sheep from goats, and to deliver those who love you, Amen.”

“… before the LORD. For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with His truth.” (Psalm 96:13)
