UK finances plummeting, California wildfires raging, Prime Ministers and Presidents “moving residence” around the world… What is happening to the democracies of this world?
There are all sorts of shockwaves going out all over the world. Shockwaves: so be prepared!
The West is in decline
Law and Order is hanging by a thread, at least in the UK it is. Leaders’ behaviour is dubious. Police are told to arrest people for tweets and releasing criminal prisoners early to make from for the tweeters. Our thoughts too are no longer free to think.
The UK is sliding into despair
Today, I walked into my flat where two strangers were standing, 1 a scammer and the other ready to hand over his hard earned cash to rent out the place. My place. Fortunately, the scammer did a runner. The man seeking a new place to live hadn’t given him any money (yet). And although I’ll have to change the locks and bolt the door, I have my flat again.
What is the world coming to?
Well, it’s all in Matthew 24. And it’s all because of what GOD talks about in Romans 1.
I urge you to study both. “Be diligent to present yourself approved to GOD…” (2 Timothy 2:15)
And worship!
I celebrate the fact that I am safe. The gentleman who nearly got scammed of significant money didn’t. He may even end up as my tenant! All is well.
I could have been harmed: physically or financially. But I wasn’t. So I thank the LORD for protecting me, and I rejoice. I’m being educated, learning how criminals can take advantage…. So that I can avoid — and perhaps help others to avoid —such things taking place.
Times are tough… and getting tougher
Whatever we see and hear, if this is near the end — and there is a lot to suggest it is — it will get worse before it gets better. So we need to mature. We need to love. We need to nurture and be the ones to help others.
Let’s be prepared to comfort, keep, protect and support others as the world continues to spiral downward.
May you recognise the blessings in your challenges!

Oh so glad you were not harmed. Thank God.
GOD is good. He watches over His children. He sees everything. Yes, praise GOD — I was safe.
Blessings and love,
Sarah
