Examining Biblical Scripture

PRAYER: Our Only Answer

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

(1 Chron 7:14)

We who are concerned for our nations — any including the UK, Canada or the USA — need to be praying. We have just completed an election in Canada with a weak minority Liberal government being elected; the UK will go to the polls again on the 12th December, and the US is only a year away from their next presidential election (with the current president facing the threat of Impeachment). Nations around the world are in turmoil, and many are divided between one extreme and another.

There are those who are GOD’s chosen leaders; yet, there are those who speak good promises but will reap a storm.

If you watch this video, you can take encouragement:

BUT just as this prophetic voice says we are to pray, so does GOD’s Word. We cannot and must not take for granted the results of our elections. For though GOD is sovereign, He calls us to pray.

Father, deliver us from evil and give us the government not that we may deserve, but that will preserve freedom to express our faith in Jesus, that will ensure Your Chosen People the Jews are supported, and that Your will be done so that our nations will be sheep nations and not goat nations, when Jesus comes to judge. In Yeshua’s name, Amen.

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. (Revelations 11:18)

May the earth will be sprinkled with the joy of the LORD.

“For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, As the waters cover the sea.” (Habakkuk 2:14)

I come into agreement with your prayer sister Sarah. Amen.
There seems to be a spiritual congestion manifesting in the physical. You can see it in unusual blocks/delays of all kinds. MPs blocking the vote of the people; Hong Kong riots; Impeachment of the POTUS – I see road blocks in London, traffic congestion even very early in the day. Sounds strange I know but that’s how I perceive things…when it’s happening in the spirit it shows out in the physical..if that makes sense. But God has been faithful to us; keeping us and equipping us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms Eph 1:3 even to verse 14.
We must pray to our Heavenly Father God, confidently for mercy; His will and purpose – and take authority over every block; drain the swamp and set ablaze the debris in the name of Jesus The Christ son of the living God Amen.

Amen! Yes, indeed, I understand and agree that so often the spiritual is manifested in the physical, if only we have eyes to see.
Ephesians 1:3-14

“3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He [a]made us accepted in the Beloved.

7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and [b]prudence, 9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, [c]both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. 11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, 12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.

13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who[d] is the [e]guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.”
