The Ministry of Love
The closer we get to Jesus, the less need we have of others.
The less need we have, the more love we can give.
Ministry is loving others as we love ourselves.
Ministry is loving and being with others as Jesus is with us.
May we live, learn and love as Jesus.
That’s our ultimate goal,
achieved only through the love of GOD
and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Meditate on the Word of God, which is Jesus, and grow.
Love everyone as though in ministry, for we are always in ministry.
Always.
Hallelujah!

I am only catching up with all my emails now as have been away
I agree with you Sarah that we are always in ministry and call to serve and love others as born again Christians . We cannot do it on our own human strength and certainly need the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit to love others unconditionally. Our love for others is the outcome of our love for Jesus and from our real understanding and experience of His love for us As we think of others and learn how we can love and serve them, we avoid the temptation of falling into self pity, and sometimes, depression
Thank you for reminding us to hunger for the Word of God and to meditate on it if we are to grow spiritually.
Blessings to you and your family
Well stated, Poo Choo. Focusing up and out is so much healthier than looking inward. There is a time for each, but seasons of introspection, though often worthwhile, are best taken in moderation, I think.
And I hope you had a splendid time away… we all need the restoration of rest and the invigoration of work, so whatever your reason for being away, I hope the change of scene and tempo did you much good! Every blessing, Sarah
