Marking Time: a poem

Explosions of passion

——- Enthusiasm and Excitement!

GOD is moving with promises and enlightenment….

Moving toward revolution 

——- the world set alight.

And in the meantime

we are: Marking time.

Waiting. Holding our breath

almost straining

and waiting

——- waiting and straining.

Until the moment passes or

we seize it with every breath of hope

and certainty,

——- faithful anticipation.

Marking time:

Pacing intently

Gabbering softly

Waiting, Hoping. Praying

for breath then

as we are now:

Marking time.
