The Secret to our Identity
I have no fear! It has happened because I let GOD lead.
I have found the identity I was born with. It happened because I yielded to GOD.
His Word is so true and so powerful. “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of GOD.” (Romans 12:2)
Yes, I can testify, He renews our minds as we allow Him to, through His Word both scripturally and prophetically (so long as contemporary prophetic words do not contradict His scripted Word: the Bible).
I never expected, I never asked, but GOD set me free even when I didn’t know there was a lack of freedom, and He did it all because I listened, I followed, I trusted, and I responded to Him.
I am born again — again!
I have known the LORD since 1984. Wow! What a year that was. And since then, my journey has been full of challenges and blessings.
But I thought my life, blessed and full, was free. But GOD, in recent months, has been chipping away —
First I surrendered my singleness. I’m not married but my husband passed away 5 years ago. And I said, I’d never marry again. I’m still single, and I’m happy with that. But I no longer have that condition on my life. I’ve given that back to GOD.
Then, bit-by-bit, over recent months, the LORD has shown me things to offer to Him. And every time, I’ve surrendered.
And then suddenly, a whole generous gift of freedom was offered. I didn’t see it coming. I didn’t know I needed it. But it came, and I accepted it, and I’m free from fear!!
The Word of GOD, in combination with the Prophetic from GOD’s servants, has set me free.
Not by my decisions or by my might but by living for the LORD had taking His lead, I have been transformed.
I stayed out of GOD’s way and let him have His way.
I allowed Him to take territory I’d reserved for myself, and then I stayed out of His way.
GOD transforms us
He changes us into His likeness by changing us into the person we were born to be.
He transforms us into the person He created, by setting us into the awareness of who we were and recalibrates us to be the perfect blend of who we were and what we’ve learned through life with Him.
Be ready
GOD wants to change you. He has a promise and He wants to fulfil it.
That Promise He makes to any and to all: to have “life more abundantly”. He will fulfil it, if we make way for Him.
Love Him. Let go. Trust Him and wait…
From speaking out at a packed cinema after a show to allowing GOD to gift me through others’ prophecy; from accepting opportunity offered that healed every rejection I’d every experienced; from superficial blessing to deep inner working, GOD has taken every bit of brokenness I’d learned to live with and transformed it into absolute courage and grace: I was born biologically equipped and now am spiritually prepared to say, do, live and enjoy all the freedom I was born to live.
