GOD’S STORY part 24: from Mammals towards Mankind!

While the LORD is creating towards His most prized, He creates that which will come to steal and destroy the Edenic life for Adam and Eve.

Living, breathing mammals are created! GOD’s creation moves from mammals towards mankind.

“Then GOD said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind” and it was so. And GOD made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and every thing that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And GOD saw that it was good.” (Genesis 1:24-25)

Before GOD made man and woman, he made mammals: animals that were created after their own kind. And He created creeping things — snakes, reptiles — is that what the creeping things were?

There were felines and canines, those in the horse or equis family, and other beasts similarly after their own kind. And there were snakes and other reptiles created, and insects and spiders might fit here,… to creep. All these were after their own kind. All proceeded the creation of Man.

Preparing the Bride for GOD’s Story

How do we prepare as the Bride of Christ? One aspect is to learn GOD’S STORY. He created us in His image…. What is that image and what does that entail? We get a step closer in this blog post. Piece by piece, and peace by peace, we learn to walk as He has walked. And we learn His perspective.

He created life in stages: first plant life, then birds (and fish), then animals and reptiles: earthbound creatures that breath air. And finally He created human beings. He breathed into man with His Spirit, giving humanity a unique spirit-filled life like no other living creature….

As Creation experiences a Crescendo

As GOD is bring more life onto the planet He created for life, the beauty must have resounded throughout the stratosphere!

On Day 6 the creation of animals precedes man, as does the creation of creeping things. It is as though the pace is increasing, or the noise or pressure is rising toward one climactic moment when He would breathe the life of the Spirit into His ultimate creation: Man.

But why LORD, did you create mammals and follow thereafter with that which creeps on the earth? I take to refer to reptiles, and snakes in particular?

That the devil would enter the serpent to speak to Eve does not escape me at this moment… How is that moment of deceit and temptation connected to this moment of Creation?

While the LORD is creating towards His most prized, He creates that which would later choose to come to steal and destroy the Edenic life for Adam and Eve. While GOD is creating life and beauty He is simultaneously creating what would become the pathway for Man’s downfall, even before He has created Man. Did He know when He created Lucifer that he would later become proud and an adversary to GOD?

Why LORD (and How LORD) did you create Lucifer?

A VERY great question, that you’ve posed here my sister, one whose answer lies ONLY in the Mind of God, i believe, and as we know from scripture, His Thoughts are “Much Higher” than our thoughts, in fact “As High as the Heavens are above the earth,” which leads me to believe that we won’t find out the answer, until we’ve transitioned to the Next (Everlasting) Life, be it by ‘rapture,’ individual or corporate, martyrdom, or peacefully in our sleep.
St. Paul tells us that there are many things that we’re simply not meant to know, on this side of Eternity (e.g. WHY Christ picked Judas Iscariot as a disciple, knowing full well how he would betray Him.)
I’ll leave it at that, before my mind gets ‘boggled’ TOO much (Lol!) Shalom/God bless+++

I agree. But as I read your reply, I suddenly have a thought:
Like Job was released to Satan which demonstrated ultimately, his faithfulness, perhaps
Adam and Eve were expected to fall but all the rest is, in one sense, to show Satan mankind’s
ultimate faithfulness to one true GOD.
Just a thought.
The battle belongs to the LORD. Praise GOD.

Shalom…

Sarah

God created Lucifer (Isa 14:12). He was the most beautiful of all the angels. He was not created evil. God never creates evil. He rebelled against his creator and was cast out of heaven (now known as satan because of his rebellion). He was created good. Just like man was created good. The angels just like man are given free will.

Hello, I could not agree more. Lucifer was a product of GOD’s making and was the worshipper to beat all worshippers.
Tragically he became proud.
I did not mean to imply GOD created evil but rather, Lucifer made a choice.
In that choice, as a result he tempted mankind and Adam sinned and brought all of GOD’s creation under a curse.
I’m not sure what I wrote that could be mistaken for suggesting GOD created evil and for that I apologise and am glad you raised the point.
Simply, my point is that just as Job was tested with GOD’s consent, perhaps it was similar with Adam… not that GOD didn’t know what would happen but that in the entirely of time and the universe, this needs to be completed so that evil cannot exist forever. Certainly, this battleground between satan and GOD will be completed with GOD’s victory, which through Jesus has already been won.
Every blessing and thank you for responding. I always wonder readers’ thoughts and am so blessed by interaction. I wonder your thoughts now:)

This is what you said—

Thanks Gary. I believe I have amended my post to take into account your very reasonable interpretation, which wasn’t what I intended at all. Yes, He created Lucifer and in that He created what would become the pathway to His own opposition. I don’t mean to suggest He deliberately created evil but rather He created and out of it came evil…. I hope I’ve sufficiently rectified the post and thank you so much for drawing attention to it. Also, Gary, great to hear from you again. It’s been a long time since we’ve had a discussion. Every blessing, Sarah

Hmm, very great “Food for thought!”
I’m still left thinking that ONLY God can FULLY comprehend what i would term “Divine Paradoxes,” but perhaps i’m “copping out,” so avoiding further ‘brainstrain,’ but i know how easily i can get lured into obsessive overthinking.
Certainly God doesn’t create evil, yet there, in the Garden of Eden, BEFORE man & woman were “breathed into,” stood the Tree of the KNOWLEDGE of Good and evil, suggesting perhaps that at the very least, the CONCEPT of evil pre-existed the Creation?
Just a thought that’s kept me pondering for a long time (without reaching any definitive conclusion!)

Thanks Bryan. Indeed it is a paradox. GOD created beauty and goodness but as a part of His creation there was Lucifer, who made evil choices. In that sense, GOD created the pathway…. though I didn’t mean to imply He created evil.
