GOD’S STORY: part 122 The value and importance of the Jewish People to the Most High GOD

And so, those who are grafted into His body are the gentiles and His love for the original vine is everlasting. (Romans 11)

Is it possible to out-give GOD? No. But sometimes we don’t even recognise what He’s given us. We can miss it completely.

The value and importance of the Jewish people to the most high GOD, then, now and forever

It seems that right now: having come to the passing of Abraham, who is the father of the Hebrew nation and the patriarch of the Jewish and Christian faiths, it is time to pause and emphasise the value and importance of the Jewish people to Our Father, LORD of heaven and earth.

I may have been too subtle in the previous 121 posts of GOD’s STORY. May the LORD forgive me and may you forgive me too. Going forward, I must and will be more direct in future posts as to the relevance — not only of Abraham, Moses and the other Jewish patriarchs to the faith of Jesus — but also that the Jews are as important to GOD now as they have ever been and equally valuable and important to Him as are we Gentile believers. GOD’s promises are not temporary and his gifts and calling are without repentance. (Romans 11:29)

And so, those who are grafted into His body are the gentiles and His love for the original vine is everlasting. (Romans 11)

Preparing the Bride for GOD’s Story

How do we prepare as the Bride of Christ? One aspect is to learn GOD’S STORY. He created us in His image…. Piece by piece, and peace by peace, we learn to walk as He has walked. And we learn His perspective.

I take you back to the promise of GOD to Abram in Genesis 12:3,

“I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Nothing has changed.

Ponder this

If you don’t get this, if this is a surprise to you, or if it defies the mis-teaching you’ve had on Israel, get your head around this truth: The Jews, the Hebrews, Israel — who was originally called Jacob: All this nation and these people are GOD’s chosen people, a chosen generation. That has not and never will change.

And so the Bible must be read in this context.

Does it mean the current Israeli people are perfect? No more perfect, or less perfect, than any people group. But GOD did not choose them because of their perfection but because of Abraham’s faith. And for His own glory.

Praise Adonai, the first and the last. Praise Yeshua/Jesus, perfect in every way. Bless Holy Spirit, our comforter whom Jesus sent to us.

And bless Israel, because that is what GOD asks us to do.

Shalom means Peace.

Peace to you and to your mind: Shalom, shalom.
