I’m so grateful for my child. And I don’t hide it from him.
I give thanksgiving to GOD for my child. And I don’t keep it a secret.
I love my son, not based on what he does but who he is.
I value my son, and I let him know it.
I don’t smother him with praise — but I am proud of him.
I don’t look over his shoulder; I trust him and know he’s trustworthy.
Give thanks
It hasn’t always been easy to “let go and let GOD” but it’s always been worthwhile to give GOD the job of guarding my son. And He has.
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he grows up, he will not depart from it.”
A wise man named Solomon said that, recorded as Proverbs 22:6 in the Bible, thousands of years ago.
I think he was right.
I’ve lived, training my son and trusting GOD in this way and have not been disappointed.
May our parenting, our mothering, grow from strength to strength.
And I ask GOD to bless you with wisdom, love, authority, grace and joy in your parenting.
