I miss my perfectly healthy, lovely son, mature and independent as he is.
Does motherhood ever end?
Nope!
Love never ends.
Whether our children are with us or away, we love them.
Whether they are healthy or ill, we care about them.
If they are happy or sad, we think of them.
Whether good or bad things are happening in their lives, we hope for them.
And whether they talk to us, or not, we long to hear their thoughts, enjoy their company, and share our experiences with them.
It’s only natural to love our offspring. How that shows will be expressed uniquely, from different mums to different kids.
But our love never ends.
