I want to be close to the Father because that is what the Father wants.
We are not to be like the Hebrews who told Moses, ‘You go talk to God and report back to us’. Rather, we collectively and individually are meant to seek relationship with the Father. How important then to be in unity: being gracious with one another, reflecting GOD’s goodness, love and purity, which extends in and through one another.
How then do we walk in love and grace, honouring GOD, honouring others, when injustice or disappointment or lost opportunity arises?

People of GOD, we must not get caught up in the “fight” for Human Rights. Though many are righteous causes, they are fleshly causes and however justified the complaint may seem, the spirit behind it is rebellion, not GOD.
There is total surrender when we commit our lives to Jesus. We say the words but to what degree do we practise “total surrender”?
When we understand the human need for intimacy and GOD’s desire for us to fellowship, we can better accept ourselves and one another as we expose our weaknesses and celebrate our victories together.
Church on a Sunday has been man’s way to “do church”, just as religion across the globe and throughout cultures has been man’s way to get to GOD. On the other hand, just as Jesus is GOD’s one way for man to get to Him, Jesus’ church is GOD’s way for us to be church.
