How can we pray for the most heinous situation in modern Britain?

The Grooming Gangs Issue

Exposure and Prayer

The Grooming Gangs issue in the UK is well documented and well reported. How can we make a difference to this situation, so that the gangs are exposed, the children are rescued, and the matter becomes history?

We need to pray for their exposure: the ring leaders, the culprits, the facilitators. This includes praying for accountability of all those in the social services, police and government to be held accountable, even if this means prison.

Steps to Exposure

Ideally, we can start out by 

  1. Mapping out areas where GG are suspected to be operating
  2. Prayer walking those areas


Prayer for impact

Get those MPs and Lords most emphatically supportive to end the grooming gangs to be given air time in the mainstream media and in their respective Parliamentary Houses to expose the gangs and threaten those in the civil service, in parliament, and in the entire system.

Lies, Cover-ups, false regrets: An insincere and dishonest government is antagonising its people

House of Commons discusses Henry Nowak

I am exasperated at the behaviour in the House of Commons. Of course this is just my opinion and uncharacteristically, a bit of a rant. Forgive me, I’m angry.

The government seems to live on lies, cover-ups and phoney regrets. 

House of Commons

On 2nd June, the government was forced to discuss the murder of Henry Nowak after body cam footage was made public the night before, and the nation watched in horror as police ignored the pleas of a dying 18 year old, preferring to show concern for the man who had accused the boy of racism. The government was going to continue to ignore the case, but the Speaker of the House insisted it address the death of the white student, Henry Nowak, by the hand of a Sikh man.

Remember when the Southport killing of 3 little girls caused uproar which the PM declared was the reaction of far right racists? On 2nd June, there was similar accusation towards Nigel Farage and others who questioned the undercurrent of 2 tier policing. It seems the Prime Minister has one strategy to avoid civil unrest: accuse anyone who is angry or reactive at an attack on native Brits as an act of far right racism. I would suggest, in fact, that the racism against indigenous Brits (and by birth I don’t even fit the category I’m defending as I am Canadian-born) seems to be the most marked, and this is backed up by the treatment of Henry Nowak, a university student who died trying to tell police he’d been stabbed.

Accusations

Indirectly, on 2nd July, I was labelled far right. As I reflect on the last 22 months since our current Prime Minister took office, everything I stand for he has called far right. I believe in freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom. But by his own rhetoric, by his calling card from the Fabian Society (see previous post), by his own words, Sir Kier Starmer has accused me (along with Nigel Farage MP, the entire Reform and Reform movements, and anyone who questions the PM or the Labour Party on 2-tier policing) of being a far right racist.

Equality by revenge

What has actually been happening since George Floyd (2020) died in the USA, is what I would call “equality by revenge”.

Equality by revenge is a term I pluck out of the air on the basis that culture wars, black lives matter, calls for reparations are all based in jealousy and revenge toward the white Europeans who had the duty, position and joy to bring education, health care and hospitals, culture, Christian faith, to statistically poorer nations across the globe. Yes, such infrastructure also brought with it the negatives of colonialisation: land appropriation, disrespect and disregard for existing cultural norms, and a superiority complex aka bigotry. Equality by revenge operates on “do unto others as generations before, was done onto your ancestors” — a sort of make up for past mistakes by repeating them.

Death of a white student

When Henry Nowak’s murder in December with the ensuing trial this past month was ignored by government and most of the media, the silence was deafening. A loud statement was being expressed through the silence: white lives don’t matter.

At the murder of student Henry Nowak, our cowardly Prime Minister said nothing. 

On 2nd of June, in the House of Commons, MP Carla Lockheart (DUP) asked why the government had said nothing until mandated on this day. Home Secretary Shabana Mamood hid behind legal investigation —which by the way, didn’t silence the government in previous incidents such as when the 3 girls in Stockport were murdered in cold blood. 

Lies and Avoidance

The strategy of this government seems to be, “Hide, say nothing and it will all go away… And by the way, if anyone dares to ask questions we don’t like, attack, attack, attack!”

People are angry that they are not respected. People are very angry that there is 2 tier policing, people are furious at how their voices and votes have been and are being ignored. And what is the response by government when opposing MPs make a fuss? Don’t cause a stir because telling the truth is an expression of the far right!

Forcing the Issue into the Open

On 2nd June, I watched as the Home Secretary deflected every honest concern that bore a hint of complaint, avoided all scrutiny, and told untruths about protocol, leaning heavily on the IOPC investigation as an excuse for a silent government. 

Until 2nd June, I had great respect for Shabana Mamood. But that’s gone now. 

My hope

My hope lies in the return of Jesus.

In the meantime, I hope for a general election which will oust this government and bring in one that will respect and will listen to the honest, not-to-be ignored people who love this nation, people whose eyes are wide open to the mechanisms and schemes to dismantle our culture, who are law biding, take delight in the benefits of our society and are sick and tired of false narratives coming from a political class…. which has no class whatsoever.

Jesus is progressive

Why is it that many people who see themselves as progressive appear to despise Christianity? Jesus is progressive and following Him yields the fruit of a progressive society. Witness Israel’s civility during Solomon, the West’s cultural explosion throughout the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, and England — tiny England — during the advancement of the Industrial Revolution: an Empire where the sun never sets. All of this existed, moral integrity sadly mixed with imperfection, because of the root of honour to the Judeo-then-Christian Yehovah GOD. 

I think these cultural marxist/progressive folk must see Christianity as ancient, not contemporary. And yet, Jesus is timeless and the most progressive person in history.

Pronouncements

In the name of modern progress: we cancel history and everything that has gone before… except Marxism and the concept of Communism. We’ll hide the failures and stick to the ideology.

But it’s actually regressive as we are sinking into barbarism: the proof is in the pudding. As we focus on the concepts in the Fabian Society, the ambitions of the World Economic Forum, toward an elusive culture that is utopian, imaginary, illusive, and devoid of GOD, we see human decent into sorcery, lust, debauchery, murder — which is simply a modern blend of barbarism. That is regressive not progressive, an echo of every “civil” society that collapsed within itself — championed by example in Greece and then Rome.

Ideology isn’t truth, it is opinion. Opinion is one person or one group’s perspective. The fruit of Marx, money and ego is collapse, time and time again throughout history. Reflect on Napoleon, Hitler, Stalin…

Where the fruit is, there is life. There is no life in this current idea of progress, that celebrates death, causes destruction, manifests in depression.

When Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life” (John 14:6) it was an expression of identity borne out through His ministry of healing, restoration and moral integrity, and within an advancing society which took on His identity and His truth.

Jesus was progressive, from barbarism to civilisation and anything since is regression toward, again, barbarism. 

Dwell on this: 

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are

true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” (Philippians 4:6)

Russell Brand: a new brand of Christian?

Russell Brand, British stand-up comedian turned faithful Christian

Rough, recovered drug addict and self-confessed hedonist, with a career that has spanned nearly 30 years hitting the highs as a BBC celebrity and as Hollywood performer, to the lows of being banned from YouTube as a conspiracy anti-vaxer, being accused of sexual misconduct and rape at the BBC, he’s proven resiliency and innovation. But the real reason I’m featuring him in this post is because he’s become a faithful, exuberant, genuine follower of Jesus. 

Is Russell Brand a new brand of Christian? 

I think so.

He’s been mentored in part by Evangelist Canon J John.

He’s been baptised by Bear Grylls. 

He’s been interviewed by Charlie Kirk on his developing faith, by Jordan Peterson about his faith, by Tommy Robinson about political perspective and overcoming addiction. 

I’ve heard him say he finds it hard not to drift into speaking about Jesus even when he’s doing his secular podcasts.

Russell Brand is a new brand and yet the oldest brand of Christian of all.

Jesus said, “But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” (Matthew 9:13)

Well, Russell Brand is a champion for Jesus and a reformed sinner, that’s for sure.

Establishment Doubters

Cynics and some in the Christian establishment have expressed doubt, even disbelief over Brand’s genuine conversion.

I had a chat with one vicar a year ago who doubted Russell’s sincerity — even though he’d not seen Russell’s testimony, nor listened to his podcasts professing his faith. To me, this is a Pharisee’s perspective. The adulteress should be stoned, the cripple should remain a cripple on the Sabbath, Rabbi Jesus should stop his followers from picking grain on the Sabbath, Brand should not be trusted (or forgiven). All are from the same piece of cloth.

Jesus Saves

I celebrate Russell Brand’s salvation and commitment to Jesus. His evangelist reach is huge. His enthusiasm is consistent. And I’ve heard his preach transformation and personal responsibility for sin — and he preaches love, forgiveness and personal responsibility as well as any preacher I’ve heard. 

Praise the LORD. Jesus saves. And He does not condemn. He came to give life to the sinner. And Russell Brand, through Him, has found new life.

I pray he continues to grow, continues to preach, continues to share in his unique style, the wisdom, the grace, and the forgiveness of Jesus.

Hallelujah. Jesus came to save the lost. And that doesn’t depend on the class, style, or history of the sinner. 

Evangelism of Russell Brand

“Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” (Luke 7:47)

Mr Russell Brand is the epitome of the repentant sinner — forgiven much and therefore full of love for His Saviour. Praise the LORD and may GOD bless Russell Brand and his budding ministry to the lost.

Roots of Britain’s decline

How did Britain fall into decline?

There are two aspects to British Society that trace the decline of it: 

1 the reduction/replacement of Jesus in the culture and 

2 the influence of The Fabian Society: an ideological system who’s aim is to create “the socialisation of production, exchange and distribution of goods and services.” 

How has America thrived over the past 150 years? Through personal industry. 

Why has Britain suffered decline in this same time frame? A lack of personal industry. 

How can we fix Britain?

I don’t think there is much debate amongst socially and politically aware people that Britain is in some kind of decline. But what are the roots of Britain’s decline? If we can learn that, I believe we have a much better chance of repairing it.

The ideology which has gradually transformed the civil structure of Britain over nearly 150 years is a kind of socialism: a cultural marxism, originating from an organisation called The Fabian Society. Original members were intellectuals who believed in overtaking the governmental system gradually, subtly, without violence or revolution: to move from capitalism to a democratic socialist state. Fabians instigated a public health service; and yet they advocated for eugenics. 

We are now, in the main, that democratic socialist state. Alongside the gradual shift in political perspective, we also have experienced a decline in faith and then in morality, and finally most recently in productivity. Please take time to watch this video (below). And then pray! 


Pray that this nation will be restored to a nation of personal responsibility, faith rooted in Jesus Christ and a sense of moral and social decency. Pray like your freedom and standard of life depends on it. Because they do.

Satan’s Dominance

Satan’s Dominance

Satan seeks to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10a). That is Satan’s rule.

Peter tells us to, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” (1 Peter 5:8)

The devil plants ideas, rooted in hatred. His emphasis is on hatred toward GOD and toward His Chosen People, the Jews. He hates GOD and anything precious to GOD. And he wants to ensure Jesus will never return… That is why Israel must be destroyed, to prevent Jesus’ return, because Jesus will only return to Isreal. So, no Israel = no return of Jesus.

Satan has a tool he is using to destroy Israel — geographically, physically. He has failed to destroy the people; now he seeks to destroy the nation.

Jeremiah 16:16 says, “Behold, I will send for many fishermen,” says the Lord, “and they shall fish them; and afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.”

Satan is the chief of hunters but Islam, I believe, is one of the End Time methodologies for Satan. Jihadists are the hunters in human form — the hunters who seek to devour the Jews… and the Christians, and anything or anyone that is against Islam and against the devil.

Muslims or Islam?

I am confident that Muslims are innocent, faithful people who want to do right by their families, their god and their society. 

The true Islamists: those who follow the final chapters of the Koran, are at the mercy of the devil, however, who will rule through Islam wherever or whenever he can penetrate it.

Caviat: Not all religions are good and not all who practice religion are good. I’m not talking about the individual people but about the ideologies practiced. Some are a blessing. Radical Islam is not.

Satan’s strategy

Satan’s goal is to rule the world. He is at the root of One World Religion. Islam is evangelistic with followers who believe to honour Allah all the world must turn to Islam. Satan will use this to entrap those who do not follow Islam and who do not follow him. Anything that seeks to usurp Jesus is satanic and certainly the god of this world wants anything rather than Jesus to take hold over any society.

I’m very pro-GOD. Allah is not GOD, the Creator of the Universe. In Biblcial days, the Arabs accepted the truth of the Creator of the Universe. Although they did not have the same relationship with GOD as did the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, GOD nevertheless recognised and promised to Ishmael, and his mother Hagar called Him “the GOD who sees.” (Genesis 16:13) But Allah is not this same GOD.

The move of Islam

The World financial system is partially sold out to Islam now. Islam wants complete control. Hence, it has sought and achieved influence over institutions around the world. It has infiltrated universities in the West. It has purchased property across the West; it buys valuable land in major cities. Mosques are built where there are no muslims… then the muslims gravitate there. 

Islam pays into education systems and then indoctrinates the students. 

Islam distorts and changes cultures from within, through re-population, block voting and cultural determination, to overrule the pre-existing culture.

The only barrier to Satan’s control through Islam is Israel, both geopolitically and in arms. The world, and people who are vulnerable to Satan’s will and control, will turn against Israel as pawns to the Satanic plot to overthrow Judeo-Christian culture and values. It has already begun.

Unknown by millions of Muslims, to worship Allah is to worship Satan.

The Arabs — through whom Islam originated — once recognised the GOD of Creation

Hagar called Him the GOD who sees. He promised that her son Ishmael would be the forefather of 12 tribes. GOD was true to His word. These were the Arab nations.

“Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees; for she said, “Have I also here seen Him who sees me?” (Genesis 16:13)

Muhammad was distracted

But through Muhammad and his Koran, a new religion was formed. The GOD of Islam is Not the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, nor even the GOD of Abraham and Ishmael. Allah was not the GOD of the Canaanite tribes.

Allah is the god of this world: Satan. He is now conspicuously taking over the land, city by city and nation by nation, through propaganda and prayer. He did this in parts of Africa and parts of Asia. Europe and the West are the final challenge and he has — or is well on the way — to dominating Europe.

Stop Islam

The Gospel is the hope for each nation. Jesus will defeat the enemy by saving Islamic souls. Our call is to pray, to evangelise, to trust GOD and to grow, to disciple and to repel the enemy, Satan. People are not the enemy. Satan is “the thief” who “does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I [Jesus] have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)

Satan has no original thought. He can be defeated. GOD knows the beginning from the end. And we are called to pray, to fight the good fight, to finish the race, and to keep the faith (2 Timothy 4:7) 

And so let us not get discouraged, nor grow weary with doing good. (Galatians 6:9)

GOD wins! 

Many Believers will suffer along the way. But our eternity is secure. 

And let us not fear for ultimately, “The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” (Revelation 20:10)

Satan is at the root of anti-Semitism. He is at the root of a One World Religion. Satan does seek to destroy. But he fails and he will fail.

Pray for our nation to be saved

Satan seeks to take the nations, one by one. But he can fail to take many nations. Jesus will come to Judge the sheep nations and the goat nations. (Ezekiel 34:17) The time is now!

We can pray that our nation is a sheep nation, that our nation rejects Islam, that our nation embraces the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob: the GOD who sees and loves and embraces all who earnestly seek Him.

Kingdom Finance

We need to consider our money: it isn’t ours at all!

How does the LORD want you to contribute to the Kingdom’s finance? And how does He want to transform you thinking into His about money?

I tithe and I give to charity. But there us more. I recently realised what I would do if I had a lot of money… where would I like to deposit some of it? For me, it was a quick insight: towards child education. 

So, I’m more motivated now than I’ve ever been, to earn wealth for these invisible children — invisible to me — whose lives I might be able to sow into, so that they can have good education and therefore, good opportunity in life. The way out of poverty is education, more than anything else. Well, I would think that wouldn’t I? I used to be a classroom teacher. Or did education always matter to me, and therefore I became a classroom teacher? Doesn’t matter which way round it might be. The fact is, when I could pinpoint what I would do with excess funds, I realised quite quickly I’d like to provide education to someone or some children, who might otherwise not get one.

Motivated, I’m less scared

Having a lot of money is a lot, lot, LOT of responsibility. That’s how I view it. Look at the parable of the talents and what happened to the man who sowed his little very badly.

“For to everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required.” (Luke 12:48)

I don’t like wasting money. I don’t like losing money. I do like spending money to a degree, though gratefully, I’m not one who is inclined to spend excessively.

Now that I have a useful purpose for making money, I’m less adverse than I used to be about having more than I need. I have grown and growing family members, and for them I want to leave a good inheritance. But that isn’t all the LORD wants of me, I think.

Wealth and Responsibility

Whether we have a lot or a little, we need to treat money responsibly. It’s GOD’s money anyway.

Politics, economics, Western society all-round is experiencing vast and rapid change. SO, I’d like to recommend a book that can help you immensely, to figure out what the LORD says is your attitude to money, and what He might be saying about what to do with what you have.

As society changes rapidly and our access to money may change dramatically, I urge us all to become more aware of GOD’s perspective, GOD’s intention, and GOD’s anointing on each of us… so we can be equipped and ready to extend our wealth and use it to the Glory and Goals of GOD.

Prosperity is for use in service. Let’s get on GOD’s wavelength about money and grow it for His purposes.

I am afraid: Islam v the West

Islamaphobia — definition yet to be. Now the speech limitation is going to be called anti-Muslim hatred. Well, that’s a step in the right direction — though perhaps not for the right reasons.

Am I afraid of Islam? Not of our wonderful brothers and sisters of Muslim faith. But of the Islam of the Koran? This requires some explanation.

I pray for love and peace. Isn’t that normal amongst the human population? But Islam, in the Koran, sows hatred and war. Even still… that is not the reason I’m afraid.

Satan behind the mask

When we face — resist — the devil, he will flee (James 4:7). That devil is Satan. Who is behind antisemitism? Satan. Who is behind what is anti-Christian? Satan. What does Islam stand for? The Koran says ‘kill the Jew’ and it says, ‘kill the Christian’. It is antisemitic and anti-Christian.

And so what is Islam but a vehicle for Satan. And in that, I respectfully am afraid. For although Jesus has overcome the devil, Satan is not to be taken lightly nor dismissively. He does not have as much power as GOD, but he does have power.

So, yes, I am afraid

I’m not quaking in my boots. It isn’t that kind of fear. But who likes conflict? Who likes disturbance? Who likes Satan? Not me.

And what does Islam call for? A take-over of the world. So is Islam my friend? No. Do I want to be taken over, do I want my freedom — my little portion of the world to be taken over? Do I want my family and friends to be taken over by Islam? No.

When the Islamists pray in our streets, they are claiming the ground for Islam. Is this in opposition to Christianity? Yes, but do the vast majority of Muslims know this? Probably not.

No, I do not fear the Muslims. I reckon most are as conservative, valuing of law and family, and social cohesiveness as I am. So, I value them as members of society. Many will be my political allies.

So, what do I fear, since it isn’t the Muslims?

Who is Allah?

Allah is not the Creator GOD of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. Nor is he the GOD of Abraham and Ishmael. Historically, the Arabs — from which Islam would later grow — were those in the Middle Eastern area who believed in the Creator GOD but did not have a personal relationship with Him as the Hebrews did. Hagar the Egyptian, when in the desert with her son Ishmael after they were sent away from Abraham his father, cried out to the GOD she recognised — she and her son were destined to die. GOD answered her with a promise for Ishmael. With thanksgiving she said, He is “the God who sees” (Genesis 16:13) This is the same GOD Abraham worshipped, though from a different relationship. His name is Yehovah, Elohim.

But Allah is not that same GOD who saw Hagar in the desert. I believe Mohammad was duped into thinking he was…. duped by the angel of light, Lucifer, the imposter, Satan. Allah is an imposter. He is not GOD the Creator of the universe; he is only the god of Mohammad. Bear in mind also, Mohammad’s own track record was murder, marriage to a 9 year old child, and hatred. That doesn’t jive with the GOD of the Holy Bible. Mohammad and others in the name of Allah — particularly Saladin — murdered, slaughtered Jews and Christians in the Holy Land for the purposes of Jihad. Allah is not the same GOD as the Creator:Yehovah Elohim. If he were, he’d be contradictory, self defeating, self destructive.

Early in the Koran, it celebrates the Keeper of the Book: the Jews and the Christians. Later in the Koran, it says kill the Jew, kill the Christian AND it says ignore what comes earlier in the Koran if there is a contradiction in it.

What I fear

And so I am afraid of saying anything against Allah — because he’d like to silence me, and because the ignorant and the anti-Christian and antisemitic people are influenced by him, and are blind to his real desire, which is to defeat man and to defeat GOD.

Islamists

As I see it, there are two types of Muslims: those who are GOD fearing and those who are Satan followers. The former are peaceful. The latter are not; they are the Jihadists, the Islamic extremists, the Islamists who want to force all the world to become Islamist and want to do whatever is necessary to accomplish this. They are following Satan and they are following death. Saying this may get me into trouble, and that’s what I dread.

Jihadists tell it to our faces. They want us to conform; they will destroy us one way or the other: by conversion or by death.

But “we” don’t hear!

The deaf and denying politicians, journalists, and public are deaf and blind.

Jihadists laugh. We have been warned. But we in the West ignore them.

Islam is a religion not of peace but of war. That is the reality I’m not supposed to say. But if you read the Koran, you’ll see it in black and white.

To define Islamaphobia is a dangerous thing

To outlaw any speech against Islam will silence the warnings, and will create more fear, more division, and will hand more power to those who wish to destroy the West and take over the world.

Why do I say this move of Islamophobia is satanic? Because that is what Satan does. He wants the world for himself… in fact he already has it by means of usurping the power GOD gave to man (Genesis 3).

War is coming… but it isn’t against another nation or group of nations that I dread most. It is war coming from Islam.

Am I afraid of what is coming? Not exactly, though war is not a desired situation. I don’t like it. I pray against it, and I give all my authority to a GOD who loves, saves, envelopes His love around those who seek Him — and even those who don’t.

Anti-Christ is that which is against Jesus Christ

Beware. The anti-Christ spirit is strong. He is seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). And there is no end to what he will do with whatever power he can procure.

Governments, wake up! Stop giving power to the devil and start surrendering yourselves to the one GOD of love: Jesus.

Jesus saves!

Hallelujah, the world, has been rescued by Him. More and more are realising this. But in the process, let’s see what shall come to pass in these days…

What I really do fear

Funny thing is, I’m more afraid to send this post than of Islam. I don’t like prayers that seek to destroy our society, that express anti-Jewish or anti-Christian sentiments; but nor do I want to go to prison.

Is it feasible that I may be threatened with arrest or prison for sending this out? I do so with great care toward my fellow man, great devotion toward my GOD, and a bit of fear of the system. In the hope of protecting myself I say categorically: I am not against Muslims. In fact, I pray that they would all go to Heaven in the fullness of time, when their life span on earth runs out naturally. That is between each person and GOD. We don’t make decisions for GOD, no matter what our political or governmental sentiment is.

Prayer

GOD be my Helper! Keep me safe and keep me able to write or say what I believe to be true. Keep this nation free from Islam overtaking it. Return the UK and the West to it’s Christian foundations so that we have another opportunity to represent Jesus properly, that all will know us by our love (John 13:35). That all might see who Jesus is. And so all will be saved.

Banking: An End Times sign

Banking surprise!

I went online to access my bank account and low and behold, sign in requirements have changed!

Hmm. Are personal banking and finance mechanisms an End Times sign?

First, I checked to ensure this was genuinely the work of my bank and not a scammer intercepting my account. Yes, it was my bank that made the change in procedure. And they “encouraged” me to use an App. Nope! I don’t do banking on my mobile phone.

Push, push, push. The great re-set is well and truly “in motion” (and has been for a while! Have a look at Jack Gibbs and Charlie Kirk in conversation (obviously recorded a while ago) and skim through to dissect their info on the re-set re banking…

So, what am I on about today? 

We are being squeezed to conform, being persuaded to give more and more of our personal information away and to jump through more and more hoops in order to access our money. 

Digital ID

Digital ID is being made law under the UK government — for now it’s for anyone who wants to work. By Digital ID the UK government means all a person’s information is on a card that is digitised with national insurance, nfs information, even a passport included as information. It is claimed that it is a means to simplify our lives. However, opponents believe this is an invasive move and the first step to having all our information available to the government — potentially to be abused, and vulnerable to hacking.

Coincidentally, Apple…

Apple is using the same term for users just to apply an App to your iPhone to buy Apple “stuff”: digital id. Hmm.

GOD is never the author of confusion. But these two concepts using the same terminology is bound to create confusion.

Money

“The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.” (2 Timothy 6:10)

So, who is loving our money?

We need to find our own ways to store livelihood. For some, it may mean keeping cash. For others it may be buying gold or silver as literal “hard currency”). For others it may mean super-gardening, burying money rather than our heads in the sand.

Is this the Mark of the Beast?

I don’t think we know where we are in the time line for the Mark of the Beast. But the ability to buy and sell is going to be tightened as prophecy suggests; we can see it even as we live and breathe today. We are heading in the direction of a highly-controlling government-accessing our personal information through their systems.

“… and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Revelation 13:17)

BUT DO NOT FEAR

Change is as certain as death and taxes:)

But we aren’t to be afraid. The author and finisher of our faith has give us warnings:

“‘The fourth beast shall be

A fourth kingdom on earth,

Which shall be different from all other kingdoms,

And shall devour the whole earth,

Trample it and break it in pieces.

The ten horns are ten kings

Who shall arise from this kingdom.

And another shall rise after them;

He shall be different from the first ones,

And shall subdue three kings.

He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,

Shall persecute the saints of the Most High

And shall intend to change times and law.

Then the saints shall be given into his hand

For a time and times and half a time.” (Daniel 7:23-25)

And

“Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Revelation 13:11-17)

Conclusion:

I’ve written this to act as a warning as I feel an internal check, a warning, when a simple thing like my online banking sign-in changed… just a little. 

What’s the warning? For me, it seems the instruction is to: 

‘Hold on. Be wise. Be alert. Be prayerful.’ Times they are a-changing! Watch and pray!

Will Western society survive?

Herein lies a Hope with a Word of Warning…

Western society is based upon Judeo-Christian values, developed from the Bible and the Ten Commandments.

But we have three movements working against Judeo-Christian values and beliefs: Cultural Marxism, Wokism, and Islam.

Yes, there is a real and intentional threat. Nevertheless, have no fear! However dark it seems, these forces will not triumph, and here’s why…

Communism & Wokism allied with Islam will ultimately collapse because the alliance will divide against itself. Simply, a house divided against itself will fall. It is a spiritual principle that stands the test of time.

“And He was casting out a demon, and it was mute. So it was, when the demon had gone out, that the mute spoke; and the multitudes marvelled. But some of them said, “He casts out demons by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.” Others, testing Him, sought from Him a sign from heaven. But He, knowing their thoughts, said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and a house divided against a house falls. If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? Because you say I cast out demons by Beelzebub. And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges. But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armour in which he trusted, and divides his spoils. He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.” (Luke 11:14-23)

Principles of Cultural Marxism

The aim of Cultural Marxism is to destroy Judeo-Christian values through a long erosion process, whittling away the existing values and culture, and replacing established democratic laws — in the name of Marxism. However, Marxism has itself been proven to be destructive, autocratic and life destroying (remember Communism in USSR, Viet Nam, and China?).

Marxism is anti-GOD, anti-family and anti-personal industry.

Principles of Wokism

Diversity, Equity (not Equality) and Inclusion are the key principles of Wokism. I’ve observed the fall of Western society over recent decades as these principles have been imposed upon society. Society has become divergent, hostile, more violent, less law abiding. Wokism is divisive, judgmental, and it is simply not helping society to prosper.

“You will know them by their fruits.” (Matthew 7:16) The fruit of Wokism has been confusion and depression, authoritarianism and aggression.

Communism allied with Wokism

Communism began as a theory in the 1800’s. Cultural Marxism has been germinating and is now full blown in many Western countries. Is is extremely liberal in its ideology and morality, and acute socialism says everyone is financially equal (in principle)… though some are more equal than others (in practice).

Wokism is a moral push to no biological boundaries — except that white (aka caucasian) is bad and colour is good.

Enter: Islam

Steeped in tradition and ancient culture of the 6th century, Islam is based upon the Koran and its scribe, the warmonger Mohammad. First a lover of the People of the Book (Jews, Christians), he changed his mind and called for the killing of Jews and Christians. Islam is legalistic, morally strict and an obvious opposite to Wokism and Marxism in morality.

One brilliant source of information about Islam in the West is Douglas Murray, and he’s all over the internet. I recommend The Strange Death of Europe as a good read to start.

Republic of Iran

An alliance between Islamists and Marxists has happened before. It arose in the 1970’s before the Shah of Iran was overthrown. When the new authority came into power, the Islamists murdered “the other half”. 

The Islamists killed the Marxists and took over the whole country. The government Iran has now grew from the government of the 1970’s revolution.

Western society’s meltdown

As we see the West imploding under the trend of Wokism, we are actually experiencing the deliberate destruction of the Judeo-Christian culture and traditions of the West. This culture has been the West’s bedrock for centuries, but is contrary to Wokism. 

Next, enter Islam to hasten on the destruction! I remember in the 1990’s the gradual infiltration of Muslim culture in the UK and could see the future being swamped by it. Thirty years later, here we are under regular threat from Jihadist Extremism!

A word of warning

Islam will triumph unless it is deliberately thwarted. Nothing will stop it, although it may implode when it battles with it’s own ally: Marxism.

Enter GOD with His praying people

Whatever is to come, there are two truths that will withstand any barbarism or any political movement: Israel will stand the test of time and Jesus will stand beyond time itself.

Your mission as part of GOD’s church

So, what is your mission today? To find your purpose in all of this will be vital to help us to overcome the threat to our Judeo-Christian values.

Whatever you are called to do, whatever your purpose is, for all of us, a part of it is to pray.

So, let’s pray: for the Peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122) and for GOD’s will to be done (Matthew 6).

Jesus wins, in the end

The Lord will return to judge the earth. Satan will be thrown into outer darkness forever. But the process can take a lot of time, depending — I think — upon our prayers and our ministry to others, here in the West.

How did we drift so far from reality?

What is Truth?

The Left can’t see the truth of the Times we’re living in. Why not?

Because they’ve no creativity: no faith and no imagination. They’ve killed objective reality by training their minds (and those whom they successfully indoctrinate) to believe what they want to believe; they repeat their perspective as though it is fact, again and again, until they —-and others — are convinced of it. Truth has objective reality; but Wokism is based on pie-in-the-sky wishful thinking and no reality at all.

How did we drift so far from reality?

Romans 1:18-22 says, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools”

Mankind is born knowing Truth. But there are some who suppress the truth by behaving unrighteously, living and expressing life as what they make of it, without even the boundaries of objective reality, never mind the morality and decorum on which Western Society was spawned. Their attitude and behaviour promotes unrighteousness and so unrighteousness prospers. Living this way long enough, they begin to believe what they preach as real, right and true and reject any alternative.

Transgenderism

We see this from those on the left of politics who support LGBTQ rights to the extent they suggest boys can be women and girls can be men. Saying so doesn’t make it true! But puberty blockers and the will to make it true are indoctrinating a generation of children — and often their parents as well — to believe boys can be women and girls can be men: ‘Say it and it shall be so.’

Those who promote transgenderism or the like, can’t see the truth because they don’t want to. They want a society that exists in a different reality and want to make something true that isn’t, through drugs and lies.

Those who think this way and live this way could choose to see Truth but they don’t want to. Instead, they try to create a new reality that suits them. The Left can’t see reality because they don’t want to see it.

What is truth?

What occurs on the planet and in the sky is true. What arises out of mathematics and physics, biology and chemistry is true. What is of our fleshly aspiration or ideological ambition is not truth. 

Distortions

I believe the distortions began with a deliberate decision to deny GOD. What began with the Enlightenment and flourished under Communism, prospered in the UK under the push toward political correctness. We now have the belief that minorities are victims of those who live a traditional reality. This underpins Wokism.

What might have seemed like a kind-hearted consideration to allow those who are confused over their gender to transition, gradually became a means to shut down objectors to self expression, backed up by a trend to finger-point anyone who questions this perspective. Attack and accusation has ultimately caused a stifling of expression of anyone who disagrees.

Those with twisted ears, eyes, and thoughts point at anyone who dares to speak openly and think differently from the Left focal point. Many people are quickly and without debate accused and shunned for having opinions which differ from the “approved narrative”.

Accusers demonstrate zero creativity, zero ingenuity. They leer at those who question their ideology and insist they and only they are right.

We live in a cancel culture, where a person is shunned by others if they lack the political correctness demanded. The consequences have been dire. I recall one tragic UK student who committed suicide when his peers rejected him as unworthy of their friendship, after he was accused (but not convicted) of sexist behaviour.

The devil’s hand

All of this cancellation and judgment is a vehicle for the devil only.

People need to be able to express themselves and engage with others in debate, without feeling bullied into submission. We all need the freedom to develop our perspectives and to live by them with full integrity. That’s hard enough without interference, but with gossip and voices against them, they are doubly suppressed.

We need to break the lies and misleadings prevalent in our society, and learn to love others instead. We don’t have to accept ungodly behaviour — and in fact we ought not to — but we can befriend people who are confused or indoctrinated. As a starting point, can we not show them love and kindness, and ultimately model for them the love of GOD that is within every born again believer. We can love the person without endorsing the lifestyle. After all, doesn’t all human behaviour — righteous or unrighteous — generally manifest in an effort to receive love?

Who is running Britain?

It’s barely the government that is running Britain! 

Sir Keir Starmer is not being followed by all of his young MP backbenchers. Rachel Reeves, the Chancellor nicknamed “Rachel from Accounts”, is a laughing stock amongst the public. David Lamy made a spectacle of himself over a new suit and a feeble attempt to bluff his way though PM’s Questions when acting as Deputy Leader on behalf of the absent PM — on yet another of his many, many foreign trips.

With the lowest opinion polls in the history of polling, still the Labour Party under Sir Keir Starmer trundles on.

Is Islam in charge?

People shout 2-tier Keir when the police tend to favour Muslims and youth shouting “Death, death to the IDF” over the small number of Jewish people who seek to go to synagogue quietly and without a fuss.

Is Qatar in charge of Britain?

So much money comes into Britain, funded by the Qatari leader. Why is that? Could it be that to the British his money is worth more than the British PM or anyone else who might choose to “get political”?

Or could it be that Qatar knows the soft spot of the Western nations: money!

“The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.” (2 Timothy 6:10) …. But without faith in GOD, or any knowledge of the Bible, you might not know that.

Is the real national leader the King?

He is concerned about the climate. He is interested in organic. He has been known to greet a public meeting with the Muslim greeting. 

Has he ever expressed Hindi words? Or Jewish? 

If he is a leader, he isn’t leading the entire nation.

Someone should tell the king that the people of Britain, by and large, do not accept the Muslim greeting because it is loaded w politics and religion.

The nation is leaderless, rudderless

I will not bow to any God but the One who died for me.

Sharia law and Islam are counter to the laws and customs of the Judeo-Christian roots of this country.

Allah is not the same GOD as Jehovah. 

If I won’t bow, how many others will refuse? 

We seem to be without a leader…

Warning: an echo from Lamentations 5

Are we as a nation (UK) heading for conquest, just as the Jews in Lamentations 5 lost control of their nationhood, because they had forsaken GOD? This warning is for the UK — A Warning: An Echo from Lamentations :

From verse 1…

“Remember, O Lord, what has come upon us;
Look, and behold our reproach!

Our inheritance has been turned over to aliens,
And our houses to foreigners.

We have become orphans and waifs,
Our mothers are like widows.

We pay for the water we drink,
And our wood comes at a price.

They pursue at our heels;
We labor and have no rest.

We have given our hand to the Egyptians
And the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread.” (Lamentations 5:1-6, esp. 5-6)

Britain is a Jewel… but why had it has lost it’s lustre?

Jeremiah warned the people

In his life, the prophet Jeremiah warned the people, the leaders and the public, of Judah’s downfall. But he was ignored. The result was the capture of the nation, the poverty and dispersal of its people, and the end of the Kingdom.

Why was the nation overcome? Because it forgot GOD.

Europe has forgotten GOD

Judeo-Christian values are at the root of European civilisation. With a turning from GOD, nation upon Western nation is now experiencing the latter stages of decline. It has been happening over decades. It is so apparent that the nations — who once worshipped the LORD of heaven an earth — have turned their backs on GOD, with the result being systematic failure.

As with Western Europe, this has descended upon the four nations of the United Kingdom.

Marxism, Communism and the USSR 

At the early years of the 20th Century, Russia was regal and stunningly beautiful in its culture and creativity. Consider literature, theatre and music, and you can see the varied blessings on that nation. But the Tsar’s faith was in decline, his wife sought occult guidance, and ultimately, the nation fell to violent revolution, authoritarian and atheist belief, and individual and societal struggle ensued. Communism lasted for decades amidst financial collapse, poverty, injustice. People suffered because their king had forgotten his GOD. 

Inheritance was “turned over to aliens”: houses were repossessed; individual freedom and liberty gave way to the authority of the State.

United Kingdom

Two centuries ago, the nation was hailed as Great Britain. It became a great empire because it ruled and trained its subjects in a legal system based upon Biblical truth. It sent out missionaries to preach the Gospel of Jesus, it built roads, schools and hospitals which serve the local people to this day. It was said, “the sun never sets in the British Empire” so vast was its extent.

A century ago, Britain fought two World Wars and defeated evil foe. The king called for prayer and the people prayed to their GOD. He cleared the pathway for victory against incredible odds. GOD was faithful.

But then began an erosion of principle, a joining with Europe, a diminishing of freedoms. And here we are, standing on the brink of collapse: the traditions of Magna Carta and Common Law for the freedom of every man is being burnt away and replaced by ideology seeped in communism with the threat of Islamic Jihad and a twisted social justice to fan the flames.

Woe, Woe Jerusalem

Jesus wept over Jerusalem because most of the leaders would not lead GOD’s will and purpose for the people, the city, the nation. “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!” (Matthew 23:37)

Will anyone be crying “Woe, Woe” over England? I think so. Yes, I think it is already happening, even as we slide into the abyss from weak leadership, confused humanist policy, and self destructive activity which is leading us to the end.

Can a nation be turned?

But as long as their are people praying and believing, there is hope for the UK. 

Israel was galvanised and a second temple was built before the arrival of Jesus on the earth. Although it too was destroyed in about AD70, the nation was re-born on a day in 1948. GOD will not forsake His own.

England and the United Kingdom need prayer

“If my people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and turn from their wicked ways, and forgive themselves and heal their land.“ (2 Chronicles 7:14)

If people will pray for this nation, I believe it can be turned. But time is running out… So, let us,

Pray for the King to turn to Jesus.

Pray for the Prime Minister to recognise GOD.

Pray for our leaders — the most atheistic in this land’s history — to recognise the only one who can get the UK out of the pit is the only one who went into the pit of hell and conquered it so that those who believe can also conquer their pit.

And pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Ps 122) because GOD loves His first born. Those who pray for Israel will be blessed (Genesis 12:3)

Report from Gaza – from a Muslim

When I found this online, I knew I needed to share this… So, please read this below. I’ve nothing to gain from posting this, nor I think does the blogger Helen Lineen. She’s simply wanting others to know the truth…

As you read, please consider: Is this true? Is this accurate or an exaggeration? If this is true, what does it mean about the aid going into Gaza even now: the money, the supplies? And finally, if Gaza has great wealth and many are in poverty, both in Gaza and around the world, why are the media and western governments silent on this reality?

Muslim blogger Huda Jannat is shocked by what she’s learned about Gaza since the war began. In a bold post, she describes what she’s learned during the war and reveals the comfortable and prosperous life that Gazans and Hamas leaders have become accustomed to thanks to Israeli concessions. The post exposes Hamas’s hypocrisy regarding the supposedly dire situation of Gazans before the war.

And here’s what she posted:

1. Suddenly, we learned that the Gaza Strip, home to 2 million people, has 36 hospitals. There are Arab countries with 30 million populations that don’t have that many hospitals.

2. Suddenly, we learned that Gaza receives water, electricity, gas, and fuel for free from Israel. Of course, there’s not a single person in the Arab world who doesn’t pay for water, electricity, and fuel.

3. Suddenly, we learned that Gaza receives $30 million a month from Qatar alone.  And $120 million a month from UNRWA. And $50 million a month from the European Union. And $30 million a month from America. There are Arab countries drowning in debt, to whom no one gives even a million dollars.

4. Suddenly we learned that there is no “blockade” of Gaza—all goods are flowing in, the borders are open. Gazans traveled to Egypt, and from there all over the world.

5. Suddenly it turned out that Arabs live better in Gaza than in many Arab countries.

6. Suddenly we realized that our brains had been “programmed” by the lies of the Muslim Brotherhood media.

7. Suddenly we learned that the children in Gaza are not ordinary children, as we used to think, but child fighters with machine guns and suicide belts, trained by Hamas.  8. Suddenly, it turned out that schools, hospitals, and mosques in Gaza are organized terror headquarters and weapons depots with underground Hamas tunnels.

9. Suddenly, we learned that Gaza has a “metro”—a 500-kilometer-long Hamas underground network that Israel can only envy.

10. Suddenly, it turned out that Gaza’s doctors and teachers are actually active Hamas militants.

11. Suddenly, we learned that rockets and mortars are stored in children’s rooms in Gaza homes.

12. Suddenly, we learned that Hitler and his book “Mein Kampf” were very popular in Gaza, and an Arabic translation was in almost every home, along with a portrait of the author.

13. Suddenly, we learned that Gazans live in luxury—multi-story mansions with swimming pools and premium German cars.

 14. Suddenly, we learned that there is no Israeli blockade of Gaza, since it borders its Muslim “sister” – Egypt.

15. Suddenly, it turned out that the majority of “civilians” in Gaza support Hamas and other terrorist groups, democratically voted for Hamas, and celebrated the October 7th massacre.

16. Suddenly, we learned that the so-called correspondents and journalists in Gaza working for Western media – CNN, AP, Reuters, and others – turned out to be Hamas militants who participated in the October 7th massacre.

17. Suddenly, it turned out that the so-called “peace activists” and “workers of international human rights organizations” – the UN, the Red Cross, and the WHO – turned out to be terrorists and corrupt members of Hamas.

 18. Suddenly, we learned that every Hamas leader is a billionaire, richer than President Trump, with a net worth of $4-5 billion each.

In conclusion: a Muslim blogger tore off the mask of Hamas hypocrisy in Gaza with a series of tweets that shocked the Arab world.

They learned this from Israel’s outreach. Bibi had a message on her chest that was read by millions.””

This speaks for itself! But remember the questions I asked above: Why, why, why is this permitted and encouraged to continue?

And if it is not true, accurate, to what degree is there truth in this portrayal and what can we citizens do about the imbalance between truth and reality in reporting about Gaza, the Middle East, and the contemporary world?

When religious persecution of Christians is rife, when antisemitism is documented as being on a steep rise, when Hamas is being endorsed, supported and sometimes glorified within universities, what can we do and if anything, what must we do, to curb the tide?

GOD is doing a new thing in the UK

Declaration: The peaceful war has begun! Our UK society has entered a new phase…. we war not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers and this war, today,has begun in earnest.

The trigger which lead to the assassination of Charlie Kirk has set in motion a new thing in the UK.

GOD is doing a new thing in the UK

Charlie Kirk’s assassination is a trigger point. The fire of GOD is falling on THIS nation. We can stand or we can hide. I’m declaring, on this day, following the assassination of Charlie Kirk in America and the Unite UK march in London, that a peaceful war has begun. 

A read of Lamentations 4 and 5 reveals the demise of the nation, and then its turning. Such it is with the UK. It’s time.

It is not a coincidence that thousands and thousands (150,000 perhaps) marched in London recently, calling for a unity amongst British citizens to stand for the nation. Many marched shouting, “Christ is King” — some were evangelical Believers; some were not. But even those who do not know Jesus personally yet, know our culture is based on Judeo-Christian values, that Mohammad is not at all like Jesus, and they want the society Jesus upheld, not a society counter to that.

And so, it is time: to march, to proclaim, to take back the land (peacefully) for Jesus. I want, Jesus wants, we who value historic British values want freedom. I want this nation to be a sheep nation, not a goat nation (Matthew 25; Revelation 19). Will you join me in prayer, peaceful protest, and blessing our friends and our enemies, that they might discover Jesus for themselves and for the sake of this nation.

The Assassination of Charlie Kirk

I was in a television studio when I heard that Charlie Kirk had been shot. The assassination of Charlie Kirk is shocking, tragic; but alas, it is a sign of our times.

Oh, How Tragic

The end of any life is sad. But an assassination, an end so violent and so triggered by anger, is so unnecessary and unjust and incredibly, incredibly sad.


Tributes are everywhere for Charlie Kirk, who was born in 1993 and whose life was cut short at just 31 years of age. My thought: he wasn’t even on earth as long as Jesus!

Prayer

On this day, the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s death will — and should — resound around the English-speaking world. May his faith be a beacon to many, not only to those who follow Jesus already, but to those on the fringes, and even for those who opposed Jesus. May we – and they – wait on Him.

As a young man interviewed on GBNews said on the night of the assassination, “We need Jesus.” That is the only way forward.

A sign of our times

Our lives today are fast and erratic, hectic and vicious, divided between what we see as “good” and “bad”. This assassination is an echo of the evil that is dividing us.

Death and destruction 

“… is in the power of the tongue.” (Proverbs 18:21)


Charlie Kirk spoke the life of Jesus’ words. He reflected and attempted to model the life of a follower of the Prince of Peace. He debated anyone, offering mutual respect and words of hope. But he was “right wing” in politics and politics is currently so divisive.

There is so much animosity between Left and Right in politics, between Truth and Lies, between one side and another. 


Racism needs to be about the Human Race, and how we can live and enjoy life together. 

Real life, quality and freedom in life, is only through Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. He is full of love and goodness and offers that to us. It is only through Him that real life can be lived. He came to bring life, and life more abundantly! (John 10:10)

And Charlie Kirk’s life was all about Jesus; he did live an abundant life. He was and is a wonderful leader and role model.

Jesus the Restrainer

We’re champing at the bit 

It feels like the nation is on the brink of riots.

But violence has (mostly) been restrained.

It’s Jesus, restraining the spirit of aggression and violence which is just at the tip of society. Jesus is the restrainer, and we need Him to hold back the evil, that’s for sure!

I was at a peaceful march recently. Thousands of people meeting peacefully, marching peacefully, calling out for an end to hatred. The police on the sidelines were alert and yet relaxed. The atmosphere was intense but calm. The march was a serious matter, and yet there was no attack, no accusation, no aggression.

But there are other marches which are full of aggression and tension, full of accusation and suspicion, full of hatred toward those who disagree with their point of view. 

One MP has been quoted as saying those who carry the Union Jack flag are “bad people”. That’s very unhelpful, I think. It reminds me of Hilary Clinton in 2016, who claimed those who supported Donald Trump were a “basket of deplorables”. Well, history has shown us how that was received by the masses of people who disagreed with her politics. 

And what of those who carry flags of other nations, where terrorists rule? Are people who are carrying those flags bad? Or is it only bad to carry your own nation’s flag? How silly to say such a thing (if the MP did make this comment). I guess that makes me a bad person too, since I have the Union Jack draping from my house.

The reality is, the political climate in the UK is tense right now, and increasingly so. There are marches every weekend, sometimes on both a Saturday and Sunday. And sometimes there is more than one march on a day, with the same destination of Parliament Square, London.

Yes, things are tense.

And so we need to pray. I mean, really pray! 

We need to be desperate. We are running out of time.

We need to pick up our Bibles, and pray prayers of peace from the Psalms, prayers of hope and restoration from Isaiah, prayers of lamination and regret. We need to repent of our own lack of prayer (I know I do!) and engage with GOD, praying scripture and following the Spirit. Word + Spirit can bring change because GOD can bring change, through His Word and through His Spirit.

Jesus is holding back the evil that is encroaching 

But the nation needs to seek GOD’s mercy, grace and truth. The people of this nation, beginning with His church but extending beyond, need to ask for GOD’s mercy, repent of our own wilful and wicked ways, ask forgiveness and thank Him even before we see the evidence. 

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Donald Trump — again

Donald Trump. Yes, I’m writing about Donald Trump again. Why?

Why Donald Trump

Because Donald Trump is controversial.

Because Donald Trump is the leader of the free world.

Because Donald Trump supports Israel.

Because GOD loves Israel and Israel is in a right pickle on the international stage, at the moment — and frankly, it is most of the time.

The State of Israel

Can a nation be born in a day? (Isaiah 66:8) Well, the modern state of Israel was.

Since 1948 Israel has had to fight for survival, right from its birth. And yet, repeatedly, against all odds, she has survived militarily.

Currently, other nations from the West, are calling for it to give up fighting for its survival. Politically, there are tonnes of arguments for and against what is happening in Gaza. But essentially, as it says in Ezekiel 39, though nations will rise against her, Israel will survive.

Right now, the only nation that is heralding the State of Israel, outrightly standing in her defence, is America.

And the leader of America is Donald Trump.

So all I have to say is, yet again, Donald Trump is effective (whether one agrees, approves or likes the outcomes he effects or not, can one really deny he is effective?)

And he is standing with Israel, where one-by-one other national leaders in the West are turning away, issuing ultimatums, and setting themselves up for failure, for as it is written,

“I will bless those who bless you,

And I will curse him who curses you;” (Genesis 12:3a)

In reference to Abram, GOD’s promise of a nation to him, and the eternal promise of GOD to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob — who became Israel and who begot the nation of Israel in days of old — was the promise of a nation and of many nations.

GOD’s promises are never revoked

So, thank you Donald Trump and thank you GOD for a leader who stands with Your love for Zion: Your Israel.

So pray for Donald Trump…

Pray for his steadfastness for Israel. Pray for his safety and security. Pray for his health. Pray for his reason… pray however you feel led, but please let us all pray for Donald Trump, that his voice is a trumpet in the wilderness, and for the will of GOD to be done for His chosen nation of Israel.

When Heads of State meet

As I compose this, the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu is on a plane to Washington to meet with President Trump. He is accompanied by the American Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee. They all will meet together to discuss Gaza:  the prospect of getting the Israeli hostages released and determining the terms to end the war….. again.

When heads of state meet, it is newsworthy. When heads of state meet including either the Israeli PM or the American PM, others raise their heads and take notice! When the Israeli PM meets with the American PM, the proverbial pin will ping loudly when it lands of the floor.

Bibi and Mike are on the Wing of Zion, the Israeli equivalent of Air Force One. 

Meanwhile the atmosphere in the White House 

A week ago, President Trump referenced a reformed former prisoner who has come to the Christian faith. The president then, as he has done before, gave thanks to GOD. Anyone following what goes on in the Cabinet will know that there is a lot of prayer going on in that room, to the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They are serious about asking for GOD’s guidance and help, and they are unashamed. The world may find it odd, but these people are devout and committed Christians who have a habit of praying for the nation, and they will continue to do so.

Mike Huckabee is a committed Christian as are many of the Cabinet.

Bibi will be surrounded in the Oval Office by those who claim Jesus is his awaited Messiah, although it is quite certain that no one will discuss this with him. He’ll be aware of it anyway

The point is to pray…

With peace in Israel a hope, and a gaggle of Christians meeting with a committed Jew, what can happen?

I’d say anything is possible!

How can we help? We can pray!

We can pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122). We can pray for good communication. We can pray for GOD’s Holy Spirit to fill the room. We can pray for the peace of H’ashem to touch their hearts. We can pray for excellent strategy. And we can pray that Hamas will stop!

We can — and must — pray

The politicians will meet on the day this message is first being posted (7th July). It may even be happening as you read (particularly possible if you’re reading this in the US/Canada/Mexico)

Pray that President Trump sees all the pitfalls: the land mines, that are hidden against Israel, against America, against GOD’s intentions and plans in the fuller picture. 

Pray that GOD’s will will be done, that American puts Him first, that His protection covers Israel, that nothing bound or released will be outside GOD’s will. 

Pray as your heart (not your mind) feels led by Holy Spirit.

Pray in Jesus’ name.

Why did Trump suggest Canada become the 51st state?

Why did President Trump suggest Canada become the 51st state? Trump’s absurdity has a deeper brilliance.

I believe I have a prophetic insight to offer

Of course any prophetic insight needs to be tested with the Word of GOD, ruminated over, contemplated. 

But recently I had an “Ah ha!” Moment and I’d like to share it with you now…

Why did Donald Trump tell the people of Canada to join the USA?

Not a few months ago, Donald Trump suggested Canada would benefit if it were “the 51st state”. And he also said he wanted Greenland as strategic protection to the US.

Why on earth would DT suggest Canada should be part of the USA? As a Canadian, I can tell you it didn’t go down well north of the American border.

As for Greenland, both the people of Denmark and those in Greenland said, “No.”

But why did he even suggest?

Initially, I thought of the very long shared border across Canada/America and the relatively small population and GDP of Canada, and explained that Trump is simply suggesting Canada needs to put more $$ and oomph into security and defence.

As for Greenland, I think he was deliberately winding up Denmark… in order to wake up Denmark to the strategic value and importance of Greenland and that “if you won’t boost defence, we will.”

But then!

Recently another person asked me, “Why did DT suggest Canada join the United States?” This person was a Messianic friend. I don’t know whether that’s relevant but in case it is, I mention it.

I began my usual explanation, but I suddenly realised a much better explanation.

Why annex Canada?

Trump is consciously (or absentmindedly) drawing a parallel to the absurdity of the 2-state solution in the Middle East, which has repeatedly been turned down by the Palestinians, although until recently, accepted by the Israelis. 

Trump’s suggestion is absurd. But he is setting up a parallel situation to that in Israel, where that nation is under attack by terrorists, yet experiences international pressure and accusation to allow the terrorists to run another nation state alongside geographically, in perfect harmony with its own. 

Wow! If Canada or Greenland were to be annexed by the US, this would create a huge international issue. Canada’s sovereignty is not questioned, nor is Greenland’s. But Israel’s sovereignty is repeatedly undermined, not only by Palestinians but by many in the international community as well. ‘Give up some of your land! to give peace to the Middle East and peace to the nations around the world!’

So, I think Trump’s suggestions are genuinely absurd… but with crystal clear brilliance: 

If the world keeps thinking it reasonable for Israel to be divided, why not show the absurdity in spades? 

Why not create a parallel universe, where Canada, a sovereign nation, becomes a part of another more dominant nation — just for the sake of it?!

If you suggest one absurdity, why not usher in another — just for the sake of it.

Trump’s motive

I don’t know whether Trump consciously had this in mind; probably. He’s more brilliant than I am, so if I thought of it, it is very likely he proceeded me. But whether he did nor not, GOD is genius and in the bigger picture, I’m sure He thought of it, simply to raise the ire of egotistical international leaders who demonstrate their audacity interfere with / determine the borders of Israel.

Food for thought…. Nothing is as it seems nowadays.

Genesis 10:5 says,

“From these the coastland peoples of the Gentiles were separated into their lands, everyone according to his language, according to their families, into their nations.”

The week the UK chose death

Desperately concerned for this nation. This past week, the UK chose death over life.

We all need to pray.

2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

My people means those who are walking with GOD. Jews. Gentiles. All in the Church who follow Jesus Christ, we need to pray.

On 17th of June 2025, the people in the House of Commons voted to allow women to abort their babies up to birth, without criminal consequences. Death voted for.

On 20th of June 2025, the people in the House of Commons voted to allow people to get assistance to kill themselves, if they have been diagnosed a terminal illness. Death voted for.

This post is simply to sound the alarm.

I could say lots of things about the turn of events in Parliament — what I observed, what I experienced as I sat in the House on both occasions, what debates and arguments were put forth “for” and “against” but that is not for now…

I could share lots of insights or possible strategies about what to do next to wake of the nation. 

Right now, I’m simply saying PRAY! Pray that people cry out to GOD. Pray that the Church becomes united in prayer. Pray to repent for all we’ve done so far in this nation to contradict the Word of GOD. Pray against division and for unity within the church and within the nation. Pray personally and corporately for the nation to turn back to the One True GOD: Yehovah. Emmanuel. Elohim. 

This is not a tick list to pray. This is a culmination of suggestion which in essence is to urge us to come to GOD and pray for this nation, like we’ve never prayed before; this is an effort to trigger you-the-reader to pray… because the nation and its people are on a downward slope and nothing will stop it becoming worse until the population turns to GOD. So, pray. Please pray. 

Father in Heaven, I love you. I’m sorry. Forgive me. Help me to love my neighbour. Help me to seek Your will and to follow through to do it. Help me to be an example to my sphere of influence. Forgive this nation and lead them to full repentance so it can turn around. Father this nation has turned its face from you. You are doing everything to lead us to repentance — to wake us up. Thank you. Keep doing it LORD, until we turn around. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Misplaced Empathy

Empathy is good — but what is empathy? 

Empathy is having compassion for those who suffer as we can imagine their level of pain and loss. Empathy is good. It prompts people to lend a hand to those in need… However, in today’s society there seems to be a huge proportion of misplaced empathy.

Misplaced empathy and chaos

Misplaced empathy is hugely damaging to society. It is empathy based upon wrong assumptions and misinformation. Where do we find misplaced empathy? Wherever the needs and desires of the majority are subjugated to the supposed benefit to the minority… This misplaced empathy seems to have swamped Western society in recent times; we see it in the disproportionate emphasis on diversity and inclusion, and preference given to a few while completely ignoring the needs of the many.

The agenda of the loud and opinionated has become the tail wagging the dog. As a consequence of misplaced empathy, we have division, riot, hatred, antipathy against the silent majority of folk who desire to lead noble, self effacing, ordinary lives: to feed their families, to enjoy small legal pleasures, and to cause offence to no one.

Empathy for the minority to the virtual exclusion of the majority has created poverty for the elderly, a threat to those who object to crime and oppression, and a fear to speak freely in our society.

Politics blew up over this in the news not so long ago

With deepest respect to those concerned about Musk and the Trump administration being against empathy (see: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-interactive/2025/apr/08/empathy-sin-christian-right-musk-trump ), it seems clear to me that there is a huge twist in the narrative of what “empathy” actually is. 

The push for empathy has produced a form of “loving thy neighbour” without loving GOD first. This has turned empathy into antipathy for those who don’t have “my” perspective. 

Do those who push social justice see this connection?

Words in our times keep having their definitions changed to suit the speaker/writer and there is no end to manipulation or misunderstanding as a result. If you read certain newspapers as fact, and an article concerns Trump, I think you’ll find a gulf between fact and opinion. To me it is vitally important that we take into account the heart of the writer.

Following on, I think the writer of, for example, the Guardian article referenced above, has taken the word empathy but ignored the facts that so-called empathy has created in the recent decades. Western society has imputed empathy onto social justice when social justice has become a political football for Woke-ism etc. In so far as the Trump administration is cancelling Woke-ism (which is contrary to the view that the  Guardian takes towards it), yes, the Trump admin is anti-empathy as defined by the woke culture. But the Trump administration would say they are acting on behalf of the majority, and for the history of the culture of the land and its people, and for the American Constitution. That is showing empathy toward the masses, which is, to me, supremely empathetic.

Two opposing views

And so, you have 2 polar opposite viewpoints. 

Musk appears to be saying that empathy as it has manifested recently is what he is “against” — and frankly, so am I, and I think so would Jesus be. 

The empathy that is of GOD centres first around loving GOD and from that all true social justice can operate. 

Yielding to what the world defines as empathetic has created an anti-Israel, anti-Judeo-Christian, anti-biblical society. If one is support the emergent definition of empathy, he/she is going against Biblical truth and, ironically, against the original concept of empathy.

That’s my view.

Why Pray? (something to share with others)

I recently had the honour to lead a session for a local prayer group. On my heart was to merge the local with the national and even the international concerns. How can a small group of people in an English town dare to speak into international politics? And why would we?

Why Pray?

The nation and the world are in a bit of a mess, yes?

How do we get out of the mess when governments and media are shouting and opposition from other people are shouting, yet nothing seems to change for the better. That’s a good reason to pray isn’t it? 

Man isn’t achieving, so perhaps it’s timely to ask for help. 

The Bible says,

2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

That’s the first reason we pray: there is a need and there is a Helper who instructs us on what to do when our nation needs healing.

Does the nation need healing?

Let’s see. We have people crying out against the Prime Minister, saying “Two tier Keir” enables “two tier policing”, preferring those in favour of Palestine and people who push liberal values such as climate change, but clamping down rather harshly on those who attempt to protect or even apply the nation’s traditional Judeo-Christian values. 

We have no growth in the economy, with fewer people working and more people on benefits than ever before. 

We have a failing health service that used to be the model for the world. An education system that favours those with the lowest potential and seems to stifle or suppress excellence is what seems to be emerging from the current government. 

There seems to be a lot of confusion over biology and psychology. And there is an awful lot of fear which seems to be what propels ideas and agendas which, I would say, neither make us healthier, happier, nor more prosperous or peaceful.

And we’re simply running out of peace and money.

Yes, on the scale I’d say we are a country in troubling times.

So, what do we do to make things better?

We don’t complain. We don’t watch. Instead, we pray and lend a helping hand.

What — or whom do we pray for?

First, we pray for our leaders: the king, the prime minister, the federal government, our local government, our local community and our families, homes and friends.

It doesn’t matter your politics or whether you’re pro-monarchy or a republican. Right now, the leaders are who they are. Pray for them to have sound minds, free from corruption. Pray that they will make sound decisions that will benefit the people. Pray that they will not be unduly influenced by their own opinions or their own desires. Pray for favour of GOD upon them. And then watch to see what happens!

“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life…” (1 Timothy 2:1-3)

What if we doubt?

So, what?! What else can be effective? ‘If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem’ is an old adage I am quite happy to support.

“The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” (James 5:16b)

Cancel what you don’t like!

Whatever doesn’t sit right with you, whether it’s posters advertising something you find abhorrent, or a policy which seems counter to your common sense, pray! You can make mountain-moving prayers which GOD can use! And if He agrees with your prayer, He will do what you’ve asked.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” (James 1:5)

We are praying against forces, not people

Whatever you may understand now, we are praying against forces we can’t see. I call it demonic. You might call it group hysteria or mis-information, or something else still, but we are praying beyond the people we see in power. And so, share what you want to pray with GOD: He whom I call Jehovah GOD, Creator of the Universe; just share your concerns, and wait, watch to see what happens next. I don’t believe there are coincidences but I do believe in answers to prayer.

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12)

Share your heart

Prayer can be as private, as intimate, as you decide to make it. And so, you can pour out your heart, sharing your deepest concerns. Get it off your chest, so-to-speak.

So, let’s pray for the sake of the nation and its people, for the national and international circumstances. Pray if you believe. Pray even if you don’t. Yes, we need action. The safest first action is to pray for health, wholeness, peace in the nations, and then ask, “What can I do to make things better?”
