Construction
I have a prophetic word: “Construction”…. It’s short and to the point.
I believe it is of the LORD but of course it must be tested and what does it actually mean?
First, I’ve shared this word with some prayer colleagues. It resonates with them. Readers, you must weigh it up for yourselves too.
I’ve had a series of dreams over many months, about building and construction. Each time I’ve asked the LORD, “What does this mean, LORD?”
At last, after many days of dreaming, “I get it?”
The word CONSTRUCTION
I believe in this context this word is speaking to us as the Body of Christ; we are meant to construct all over again, from the ground up, our thinking and our organisations — individually and corporately. Just as the dark web says there is a “great reset” looming by the unelected powers that be, so in the Body of Christ, we need to let Jesus build His church. And we need to reconstruct our way of being” re-organising our homes, our paperwork, our thinking… everything.
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind… “ (Romans 12:2)
It’s time to re-think, re-construct, re-start our walk with the LORD, singly, together and corporately. It’s a 24/7 walk with the Holy Spirit…. “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit says the LORD of hosts.” (Zechariah 4:6)
How do we construct?
I don’t know what the outcome of this construction is meant to look like. Maybe I’ll have more dreams to show me GOD’s plan. Or perhaps others will share the heart of GOD through their walk with Him. We need, surely, to share with one another what the LORD is saying.
Most of all, we need to walk with the Holy Spirit: daily, moment-by-moment, to learn the Lord’s heart, the Lord’s strategies, and the Lord’s structure for His body the Church.
Pray
Let us wait on the LORD to renew our strength (Isaiah 40:39), let us rest in the LORD and be still, allowing the LORD to be exalted (Psalm 46:10) and let us draw near to GOD — and He will draw near to us (James 4:8).
Then as we pray, as the Holy Spirit draws near to us and reveals to us the way the Lord Jesus wants to us to move, His church can be built.
In Him, “We live and move and have our being…” (Acts 17:28) By following the Lord Jesus through the power of His Holy Spirit, we are His hands and feet.
So, let us take this word “construction” and test it. Can we allow Jesus to infill us by His Holy Spirit, and work together so that the world can see us by our love?
